Mission Statement: At Mission Arts Center, we believe that engaging in a creative process is life-enhancing and restorative to mental health. Our mission is to bring the power of healing through non-clinical art therapy to the greater Kansas City community, including newly integrated Ukrainian refugees who have been through overwhelming life circumstances and trauma. We will leverage art media, the creative process, and the resulting artwork as a therapeutic means to heal and advance our diverse community's well-being.
Our normal operating hours are Wednesday through Friday 11 am to 7 pm, and Saturday 11 am to 4 pm. Please contact us if you need to be accommodated outside the posted hours.
